Pioneer Sheetmetals Ltd provides sheet metal fabrication and light engineering for a range of companies throughout New Zealand.
We work with a variety of industries, including but not limited to:
Dairy industry – including stainless steel pipe work, walkways, hoppers, tanks, conveyors.
Food processing – including stainless steel pipe work for soft drink manufacturers and breweries.
Agricultural – repair and maintenance of machinery.
Building/construction – steel handrails, flashing, and other sheet metal fabrication work as required.
Our team work from our fully-equipped workshop in Waltham, Christchurch but will also work on-site. This full service ensures that in the majority of cases our customers will only have to work with Pioneer Sheetmetals Ltd from the start of the job to final installation.
We use the latest technology at our fully-equipped workshop including:
Press Brake – Compatible with folding 3.6 metres with our 125 ton pressbreak.
Sheet metal fabrication – We have a reputation for producing high quality sheet metal products and have the latest technology to produce products in stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and all other metals.
CNC punching and folding – CNC punching efficiently produces parts with various holes and cutouts. CNC folding allows us to manufacture a full range of shapes in a variety of materials and thicknesses.
Guillotining - High-tech equipment providing precision cutting to your specifications.
TIG welding - Welds thin sheets of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, providing the operator with greater control and leading to stronger, high-quality welds.
MIG pulse welding - A multi-purpose machine providing high-quality welding on general steel, stainless steel and aluminium fabrication.
